Director | Business Development Officer

• Board Director and Business Development Officer to queer-led, intersectional feminist organisation based in the Caribbean, responsible for taking the organisation from a non-financial standing in 2019 to managing an annual budget in excess of USD $50K for 2021 and 2022. • I prepare applications to and manage multiple grants, inclusive of logframe development, budget proposals, and final reporting to donors. • Design and coordinate programme activities centring the needs of diverse populations, including facilitating training with state, non-profit, and private sector (including academic) clients. • Develop and implement various research and public education projects, designing research methodologies to perform policy analysis and programmatic M&E frameworks. • Produced internal digital infrastructure for projects and general operations, including designing the organisation’s accounts-management spreadsheet, and setting up the organisation's domain, website, Google account, and project management software (Asana). • Comfortable with using new technology for management needs—e.g., used Airtable to create internal database, intake process, and procedural flows for our 2021 one-year pilot of the Elma François Legal Clinic. • Work collaboratively with other key stakeholders, including state and non-state entities, media, and beneficiaries.

M&E Officer & e-Learning Content Developer

• Designed and implemented quantitative and qualitative testing instruments (including pre-post testing) for migrant-related projects and training courses. • Coordinated M&E activities (data collection, data monitoring, data cleaning, etc) for field workers based in Afghanistan. • Designed and implemented data mapping process for over 250 datasets with over 15,000 rows of data. • Analysed data in Google Sheets, Jasp, and R Studio and produced data visualisations in Google Looker Studio (previously called Data Studio) • Developed materials for and oversaw technical recruitment for consultants on various projects, including the recruitment of application developers to build an organisational database management system. • Developed new and adapted existing content for Seefar Academy online courses, including content that touched on lived experiences, disability, racial and gender diversity, among other topics.

Qualitative Interviewer & Analyst

Consultant conducting qualitative interviews and qualitative analyses under an IOM-funded research study on Venezuelan migrants. • Conducted 10 interviews with high-level stakeholders including state representatives, as well as NGO and business leaders. • Led qualitative data analysis of over 40 interviews.

Consultant Lead Researcher

Lead researcher to the Global COVID-19 Research Initiative on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (GCRI-SOGI). • Developed and piloted intricate research instrument among study advisory board members capturing insights from individuals, activists, and organisation leaders on experiences during COVID-19 pandemic across personal, professional, and environmental domains. • Designed and implemented global quantitative and qualitative survey efforts collecting comprehensive quantitative data from over 380 global survey participants in four languages and over 60 qualitative interviews across seven global regions. • Analysed data from both qualitative and quantitative survey results. • Lead writer and editor to the 200-page final report with literature review inclusive of historical and current contexts and inputs from six regional consultant co-researchers. o Title: Negotiating Humanity: Otherness as Pandemic • Coordinated advisory board and working group meetings and manage all research activities, including hiring and supervising six external consultants.

CARICOM Secretariat | Sep 2019 - Dec 2019

Consultant

Consultant to the CARICOM Secretariat under the 10th EDF CARIFORUM Crime and Security Cooperation Programme (Aug to Oct 2019): • Facilitated regional forum with CARIFORUM Member State Representatives; developed the regional Protocol Manual for the Processing of Administrative Data on Domestic Violence; developed and delivered one-week implementation training to 20 Guyanese state representatives. • Co-developed train-the-trainer manual and implementation documents for After School Activity Clubs to be called Champions for Change Clubs; codeveloped and delivered one week implementation training in Guyana and Suriname.
