My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

University of Antwerp | Dec 2022 - Present

Researcher

Main activities of research includes: - Developing novel algorithms to reconstruct 3D structure of nanoparticles from single 2D scanning transmission electron microscopy image by using statistical parameter estimation theory. - Preparing self-assembled monolayer of organic molecules and characterise its structure by in-situ scanning tunnelling microscope. - Exploring chiral symmetry breaking for enantiomeric separation of organic crystals

University of Antwerp | Nov 2018 - Nov 2022

Doctoral Researcher

Main achievements of my PhD are: - Building customised force fields from DFT calculations for target organic molecules to facilitate the modelling of their surface assembly and crystal growth - Performing multi-scale computational chemistry simulations to predict the formation of substrate-induced polymorphs of organic molecules. - Analysing X-ray diffraction and electron diffraction tomography data with collaborators to validate the crystal structure of new polymorph - Mathematical fitting of time-dependent electron diffraction intensity to demonstrate the potential of studying organic crystals by transmission electron microscope
