Science Policy Intern

- Developed congressional bios and supported APS’ Congressional Visit Day, in which APS members met with over 100 congressional offices - Worked with the Government Affairs staff to draft messaging and manage three grassroots campaigns on Capitol Canary that garnered 1500+ congressional connections - Conducted a 3-month long research project analyzing current sexual and gender harassment legislation and policies regulating activities of federal science agencies’ grant recipients. This work informed advocacy activities of APS GA in this space
