Technology Operations Technician

As a Technology Operations Technician, my main duties involve monitoring the Network, Voice, and Facilities equipment at Travelers. This includes performing network monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring optimal performance for over 30,000 customers. Network performance metrics are monitored using tools such as Cloudgenix. I also participate in conducting regular audits of network configurations and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Additionally, I also regularly liaise with third-party service providers regarding open work orders/tickets, ensuring timely fix to any necessary repairs. Lastly, I provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding certain access needed, network connectivity issues, or configuration problems.

Sr Technical Service Consultant

This position takes place at a moderate volume call center, servicing Travelers employees with level II support for their information systems issues in the United States, London, India, and Canada. These issues are related to web based applications, laptops, cell phones and other mobile devices, networks, and mass outages. I take between 10-20 calls per day on issues ranging in urgency. We have strict call metrics that are captured monthly with high emphasis on excellent customer service and efficiency. Whenever a call comes in, we are first-level support and are encouraged to research and resolve the problem if at all possible.

Additionally, I was responsible for setting and achieving membership and retail goals for the clinic on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
