As a Research Assistant at Usawa Agenda, my role involves conducting comprehensive data collection and analysis to gain insights into the key drivers of learning and academic performance in both public and private secondary schools across Kenya. This research endeavor aims to uncover the factors that influence students’ educational outcomes and provide valuable information for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in the Kenyan education system. My responsibilities include administering questionnaires, conducting interviews, and meticulously organizing and analyzing data to contribute to evidence-based recommendations that can enhance the quality of secondary education in Kenya. Ambassador for Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge (AGEC)

Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge (AGEC) is a gamified learning challenge about entrepreneurship designed for high school learners in Kenya. Its purpose is to engage participants and encourage them to think and act like entrepreneurs. As a liaison between champion teachers and the AGEC Kenya & South African technical teams, I ensured the smooth progress of tasks assigned in the challenge. Additionally, I facilitated group and one-on-one training sessions, particularly during the onboarding process. I also tracked and recorded key outcomes on the Customer Relationship Management platform and provided post-challenge feedback to contribute to the improvement of future editions. Rapporteur - The Nairobi Summit ICPD25 International Conference, Nairobi

At the landmark International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in 1994, representatives of 179 governments gathered in Cairo and adopted the ICPD Programme of Action. This program recognized reproductive health, the empowerment of women, and gender equality as pillars of sustainable development. Twenty-five years later, in November 2019, the Nairobi Summit, also known as ICPD+25, took place in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Cairo conference while the international community worked towards meeting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. As part of a team of rapporteurs, I was responsible for capturing, summarizing, and reporting on the outcomes of the International ICPD+25 conference organized by the United Nations. The conference was held at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, and witnessed the participation of over 170 countries. The Population Council is an international non-profit organization focused on improving lives worldwide through research and innovative solutions. Their main areas of focus are expanding sexual and reproductive health and rights for all individuals, as well as empowering children, adolescents, and young people. The Population Council initiated the HALE survey (Health and Life Experiences of Children and Young People) in 2018, focusing on the health and life experiences of children and young people. I had the privilege of contributing to this endeavor by ethically collecting survey data and conducting interviews with over 126 female youths and teenagers in Machakos, Narok, and Kajiado counties. Throughout the process, strict confidentiality was maintained to protect the privacy and dignity of the participants. Acting as a central point of contact, I liaise with incoming promoters and production teams. I am responsible for the production and dissemination of all contracts related to music activities with external promoters.
