Data Management Specialist

• Cleaned data and managed complex datasets of records of 7,000+ arraigned individuals who may have been eligible for assistance through grants and other programs in SPSS and SQL. • Implemented best practices in data quality assurance, including producing and updating data dictionaries in Excel and Word to facilitate efficient collaboration with the Mayor's Office and private contractor overseeing projects. • Responded to data-related requests from internal and external stakeholders on average twice monthly. • Maintained and organized datasets for special initiatives in Excel and SPSS. • Investigated and problem-solved data issues with a high level of complexity. • Prepared statistical tables and graphics in Microsoft Power BI for quarterly and on-demand reports. • Wrote memoranda and short reports to update management on the progress of projects, initiatives, and strategies.
