Senior Data Engineer

As part of the BCI team, I established the foundations and created the Immoweb Data Lake, enabling the seamless ingestion, parsing, cleaning, filtering, transformation, processing, and aggregation of data from multiple sources. This infrastructure supports various reports, dashboards, and a wide range of analytical and data science projects. My responsibilities included analyzing alternatives and best practices, data modeling, technical implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing evolution. I ensured comprehensive documentation of all ingested data, tracking its sources, transformations, and downstream consumers to facilitate future utilization.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, I created several PoCs for image classification, including: - Scene classification. - Visual quality rating. - Identification of picture orientation. - Logo detection. I also contributed to the development of the first and second versions of the Automated Valuation Model. As Senior backend java analyst-developer i contributed to the API, the invoicing module and classified ingestion PoC. Responsibilities there ranged from technology selection, solution design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Involved as well as in the migration to AWS.
