Data Science Fellow

Alumnus of the highly competitive and intensive 13th Data Science Fellowship at Faculty (formerly ASI Data Science). Undertook several technical courses on programming, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, reinforcement learning, statistics, model deployment, SQL and no-SQL databases and NLP, as well as training aimed at improving the soft skills that are fundamental in a business environment. As part of the Fellowship I undertook a 6-week placement at Infinity International, the results of which were presented to broad audience at the Faculty Data Science Demo Day.

Data Scientist

As part of the Faculty Data Science Fellowship, I undertook a data science project that involved the extraction and analysis of data, both from internal and external sources, and the tuning and application of a variety of machine learning models. The final result was a classification algorithm predicting the likelihood a business company will bring high value if acquired as a customer.

UCL | Oct 2015 - Dec 2018

Teaching Assistant

I have used my subject knowledge to help the delivery of seminars and tutorials to undergraduate students, as well as to aid their laboratory work and marking their coursework and lab-reports.

UCL | Sep 2015 - Dec 2018

PHD Candidate

In my PhD I have developed new methods to expand crystal structure prediction studies to large and flexible molecules of pharmaceutical interest. I have achieved this by leveraging statistical data and developing new workflows aimed at reducing the computational cost of these studies without sacrificing accuracy and by enhancing the analysis of the results.

Purdue University | Jun 2013 - Sep 2013

Summer Intern

I undertook a project aimed at developing an advanced computational to introduce quantified uncertainties in molecular dynamics simulations.
