Office Coordinator

As the Office Coordinator and Access and Engagement Intern, I played a key role in ensuring efficient workflow and streamlined operations. I coordinated office operations and managed administrative communication for office staff, ensuring that all tasks were completed in a timely and effective manner. Additionally, I designed and published QConnect, the center's online weekly newsletter, to keep students and staff informed about the latest news and events. I collaborated with the center's team to establish and maintain the food pantry and clothing closet, serving as a representative for queer former foster youth, to provide essential resources to the community. In this role, I assisted in developing content for events and drafted and distributed promotional materials to increase awareness and participation. My exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills enabled me to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and community members.

Additionally, I took care of custodial duties such as sweeping and mopping the lobby, managing continental breakfast setup and cleanup, and managing laundry operations.

Grader

As a grader for AMS-5, a statistics class by Bruno Mendes, my responsibilities included evaluating and grading homework assignments and quizzes for the large class. I provided feedback to students on their work, answered questions about grading and course material, and worked collaboratively with the professor to ensure that grading policies and standards were consistently applied. Additionally, I maintained accurate records of grades and provided input on course content and teaching methods. Through this experience, I developed strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, and a deep understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
