Due to the adverse affects of the COVID-19 on young people's education, particularly for those that could not afford private tutoring, I offered tutoring in KS3, GCSE and A-level Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I provided weekly (or more frequent as required) sessions for an A-level Chemistry student, helping to teach and review the curriculum and prepare for examinations.

Research Assistant

The role involved genotyping and immunophenotyping of various cancer samples using a variety of molecular biology techniques. Additionally I took on further responsibilities such as supervising visiting students and new lab members, maintaining and sourcing lab resources (consumables, equipment, etc.), and liasing with collaborators regarding shipping and receiving of important samples.
