Data Scientist

Data Scientist within the Data & Insights Team Primary Responsibilities: - -------------------------- 1. Developed the business case for Easee's participation within the Nordic Energy Flexibility Market. Performed the data aggregation (from the various power market data aggregators), cleansing and ingestion in order to: - a. Highlight the potential revenue (of the market as a whole, and for Easee) from market participation. This was visualised as simple numeric outputs and live-interactive Tableau dashboards b. Identify areas within the Nordics (and in turn, which companies) to begin engagement work with 2. Draw data insights from IoT data (generated by live in-production Easee products), to inform business decision. Specific insight specialisation: - a. charging pattern and behaviour (ie. when are vehicles charged, for how long, energy charging cycle, etc.) b. geospatial analysis (ie. geolocation and reverse geolocation of chargers, mapping visualisation) These insights relied on the deployment and maintenance of underlying data products (mature, intermediate and raw) on Databricks (via Notebooks or Dbt) 3. Support daily ad-hoc request (which range from commercial to IoT data enquiries). Based on the patterns of these request, implemented one of the following solutions (for ease of stakeholder usage and access): - a. Tableau dashboard (for common repeated requests) b. Scheduled Notebook/Queries with email notification (for request requiring weekly/scheduled data updates) c. Distributed Notebook/Queries (for 1-off requests, which can be rerun by members of my team or the stakeholder) Secondary Responsibilities: - ----------------------------- 1. Workplace mentorship of junior colleague undertaking Data Analytics apprenticeship 2. Development of proof-of-concept simulation work, to lay the groundwork for a new product feature. This specific project concerns the integration of an API endpoint and the development of a charging schedule algorithm.

Senior Data Analyst

Senior Data Analyst within the Travel Insights Team Responsibilities: - -------------------- 1) Designed and publish solution for automation of monthly travel reports 2) Inherited, maintained and improved on solution for generation of staging + production-level data models (using Airflow, hosted on Google Composer, as the orchestration tool), housed in Google BigQuery. Simplified the solution through the creation of custom functions, which required a simple JSON file to dictate the Airflow Job setup. 3) Supported internal stakeholders (sales, marketing & PR team) ad hoc requests through the generation of data narratives and custom visualizations. 4) Regular participants of travel webinars (utilizing data to illustrate current and projected travel trends)

EV Technology Limited | Aug 2019 - Apr 2021

Electric Vehicle Data Scientist

Principal data scientist and software developer. Data Science/Analytic Projects: - ------------------------------------ 1) Data visualisation of insightful electric vehicle telematic events for LinkedIn article posts 2) Custom fleet reports (heat maps, network analysis, safety & utilisation scoring) for customers 3) Development and deployment of electric vehicle range prediction model, using Machine Learning. Model has 95% prediction accuracy (60% improvement from previous range prediction models). Project involved the raw processing and cleansing of 200,000 miles of real-world data spanning 2 years. 4) Consultation recommendation report on the number and site choice for the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI), using network analysis and location-allocation modelling. Model powered by real-world demographic and geographical data. 5) Automatic billing breakdown script for e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSP), to assist with reimbursements, pay-outs and cost-benefit analysis. Automate billing invoice process (that usually takes 1 week to produce) to a few seconds task (dependent on file size consumed). 6) Fleet and Charging Site Utilization Dashboard (new feature for web portal). Dynamically demonstrated utilization metrics (in graphical and table form) of a company's logistic assets. Built from scratch using PHP, Javascript, HTML, Bootstrap and Plotly. Software Development Projects: - ------------------------------------- 1) Charge Station Management Web-App 2) Cloud architecture design for deployed applications (on AWS) 3) Implementation of Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) Protocol 4) Design, testing, deployment and maintenance of diagnostic tools for telematics dataset 5) Administration web portal (for interaction with a MySQL database, for non- technical users). 6) Deployment of SFTP Server with diagnostic support
