AVP Business Intelligence

Directed, designed, and built reporting solutions for every functional team across the Credit Union utilizing SQL and Tableau. Lead team members through buy-in and implementation of data solutions from raw data to final visualizations. Developed team members from scratch, designed creative data flows to solve organization problems, and kept all reporting in-house. Particular successes include: automated the institution’s annual scorecard, geo-located accountholders for strategic planning, designed visualizations and reporting for mortgage lending, built a statistical model for determining customer’s likelihood of delinquency, and researched, recommended and began implementation of data warehousing solutions.

Designed and implemented financial data flows to new reporting systems, forecasted customer cash usage, and provided analytical support for every functional team across the Credit Union. Particular successes include: implemented Tableau as the primary visual analysis tool, created automated templates for regulatory reporting saving hours of work a month, built web scraping tools to automate daily rate downloads, furnished data for branch redistribution, and helped design new deposit products.

Delivered concise ad hoc reporting to management and worked with marketing to develop new tactics for targeting customers. Particular successes include: developed a method for creating targeted marketing lists fully in Excel, conducted annual surveys of employee time usage, reconciled GLs as necessary, and reviewed invoices reconciling them to the annual budget.
