Responsible for developing multiple high-profile dashboards (e.g., the Operational/Executive Dashboard, the Quality Scorecard/Dashboard for the Board, the Provincial Mental Health and Addictions Dashboard), innovative organizational apps (e.g., the Environmental Scan), interactive reports, large-scale program evaluations, and automated data collection tools, from dataflows to surveys. Additionally, I build Power BI organizational capacity by developing workshops and training sessions. Led the evaluation of one of the three pillars of Memorial University’s Public Engagement Framework. Designed an evaluation framework that included performance monitoring, accountability metrics, outcome indicators, an evaluation plan, a data model, an evaluation dashboard, and an interactive report. Managed a team to execute this plan, which involved collecting a vast amount of primary and secondary data to evaluate the effectiveness of the Public Engagement Framework. This process included statistical data analysis and the translation of results into actionable insights. These results were disseminated through interactive reports, including a publicly accessible dashboard built in Power BI.

Research and Evaluation Assistant

My most important project at the office included designing a formative evaluation of one of the three pillars of Memorial University, the Public Engagement Framework. The evaluation design was the direct result of my initiative and I was tasked with development of the evaluation plan, data collection, data analysis and report writing. Among many data collection tools that I used were key informant's interviews that included vice-presidents, deans and director of units at MUN, and an online survey completed by more than 300 faculty and senior staff members. Additional secondary data collection tools included documents, reports, minutes from meetings, analytics, and social network analysis tools. The evaluation attracted considerable attention, and information gained from it has a potential to transform the way the university operates. Some of my other duties included: • Participating in a developmental evaluation of The Battery Facility Program Pilot • Developing surveys for The Battery Facility Program Pilot • Facilitating sessions for an external organization to help develop their program and action plans • Conducting social media network analyses • Performing various environmental scans for the office • Collecting data from workshops, analyzing it, and writing reports • Assisting with the office personnel hiring
