Research Initiation Fellowship

● Conducted a research project under the scope of the "Verão com Ciência" program; ● Explored the effects of challenge on player emotions through physiological multimodality and performance features in a virtual reality (VR) game; ● Developed a gesture-based VR game based on the Trail Making Test with three levels of difficulty (easy, medium, and hard); ● Recorded Electrocardiogram, Electrodermal Activity, Respiratory Activity, and performance data during the game; ● Conducted a user study to assess the impact of various levels of challenge on player emotions; ● Performed literature review, data processing and analysis.
