Business Analyst/Product Owner

As a business analyst and product owner in MTN telecom in both Consumer and Enterprise Business unit, I was responsible for the product development lifecycle of several B2B and B2C products from requirements gathering and analysis to development and implementation. Products included Service Delivery Platform, Location Based Advertising, Tracking solution, voice/ data cost management, internet payment gateway, micro insurance, and a USSD-based banking solution. Gathered business requirements through stakeholder interviews, support feedbacks, and technology trends. Translated the needs into functional specifications and UML diagrams. Raised detailed user requirement documents, provided wireframes and set acceptance criteria for user stories. Facilitated clarification meetings and grooming sessions with developers, quality assurance and solution architects. Conducted gap analysis for a CRM to CLM migration project. ● Designed a new tariff-plan on a B2C product improved the bottom line by 0.3%. ● Enhanced an enterprise voice-based solution resulted in $3M monthly recurring revenue. ● Increased banking product revenue by 30% through integrating with 10+ banks and PSPs. ● Defined processes, user requirements and acceptance criteria for national mobile number portability project.
