•Performed experiments involving new polymers, primers, and web substrates developed by external companies, contributing valuable insights to their research direction •Conducted field inspections, participated in project line assembly, and performed experiments and measurements on external companies’ extrusion coating lines to provide strategic recommendations for improving low density polyethylene (LDPE) and biopolymer processing efficiency •Engineered and integrated mechanical features into SAM NA's extrusion coating lab line to optimize web handling and enhance overall efficiency •Reviewed project design documents and specifications, and developed their design solutions and modifications •Assisted in the development of a patent for an innovative method that combines biopolymers with LDPE to significantly enhancing processing efficiency and melt curtain strength •Learned to manage small and medium projects and assisted senior staff on larger projects
