Valcon | May 2022 - Present

Senior Data Specialist

Senior Specialist in the Data Platform Team at Valcon with a particular focus on building Data Science and Data Platform (Data Engineering) solutions. • Contributed to a better understanding of client's networking capital and implemented the business logic, did data transformations of ERP data using SQL in the client's database. The final solution were Power BI dashboards based on a new data model, which were used as a tool to improve liquidity, e.g. by optimising payment terms and renegotiating contracts with customers and suppliers where necessary. • Handled large volumes of data in client's SQL database via stored procedures with the purpose of exploratory data analysis to understand current situation. Built a k-prototype algorithm in Python to identify churn behaviours among customers. The solution required an understanding of the business problem and was used to support client's customer retainment and acquisition strategy. • Collaborated closely with the client and their IT department to get familiarized with and understand the needs of a new data platform. The end goal was to have a centralized overview of data from different critical data sources and to use this for decision making. As a part of the project, it also involved covering main data management needs, such as assessing data responsibilities, data quality and handling of data confidentiality. Identified and created data flows (old vs. new). • Did process mapping of the planning process to understand delay's in work tasks. Applied data analysis and visualization using R to identify i.e. lead time. The project was a building block for a new case management system to enhance transparency and collaboration between all parties involved in the planning process.

My main tasks were: • Managing patients’ partially/fully medication • Assisting with the planning of patients’ daily activities • Preparation of meals • Providing moral support to patients • Collaborating with colleagues in tasks too demanding for one person.
