Teaching Assistant

ARCH 201 - Design I (Form, Space & Order): I supported students in exploring fundamental concepts of visual perception, design principles, and architectural composition. The course, spanning 6 credits with 8 studio hours per week and 2 lecture hours, focused on conceptual design projects that progressed from abstract compositions to designs addressing specific programmatic and symbolic goals. The course aimed to deepen students' understanding of the time/space experience in architectural form, fostering both creative exploration and critical thinking. ARCH 208 - Building Materials I: As a Teaching Assistant, I supported students in a course that introduced methods and materials used in building construction. The focus was on criteria for evaluation and selection in the design process, including an exploration of regional building practices, their environmental impact, and sustainable technologies. My role included assisting students in navigating prerequisites and fostering their understanding of the intersection between materials, construction methods, and sustainable design considerations.
