• Developed short-term load forecasting models to predict one-day-ahead and seven-day load forecasts using logistic regression, incorporating various calendar, weather, and temperature features. Customized features through feature engineering, achieving Mean Absolute Percentage Errors ranging from 2 to 4 • Deployed the models in the pipeline using AWS, Terraform, and Vault, followed by monitoring with AWS CloudWatch and S3. Calculated Mean Absolute Percentage Errors (MAPEs) for day-ahead forecasts over seven days from generated log files. • Devised a curtailment algorithm for solar distribution sites using recloser and active power data from PI (Plant Information Servers), based on the taglist derived from the site data. Interpolated the data with engineering values prorated for the recloser status(OPEN). • Monitored the curtailment algorithm in production and resolved day to day errors in the code for specific sites. • Generated curtailment reports for transmission sites using an automated algorithm that retrieves data from DynamoDB for each unique site ID. Scanned through parameters such as time curtailed and amount of power curtailed at hourly intervals. • Queried databases in DBeaver to retrieve missing, miscalculated, and misinterpreted values for Meter ID, Line Sensor, and Recloser, ensuring they corresponded with values from the PI server and the portal page.
