Researcher focused on improving employee experiences and ways of working. Spearheading both qualitative research projects and measurement strategies. Qualitative Research Example Lead a five person research project team to conduct in-depth interviews on recruiting at Expedia Group across three types of participants: those conducting the work, stakeholders, and industrial experts.

Learning From Incidents Consultant

Working with clients to identify needs, and then research learning systems, facilitate training/workshops, or produce educational resources. **Example accomplishment** Co-ordinated with senior safety managers and incident investigators of the Stichting Tripod Foundation to produce tools to support leadership. Based on identified needs created a toolkit of two informational booklets, one workshop guide and a collection of exercises. Conducted iterative user testing of toolkit through focus groups, interviews, observations, and surveys with target user groups and stakeholders at six companies across three continents. Final rating of toolkit 4.6/5.0

Conducting research on student experiences and increasing the impact of PhD findings **Example accomplishments** Secured £5000 funding for and managed project on student support experiences during COVID-19 related lockdown. Conducted mixed methods social network analysis of approx. 200 support relationships to identify opportunities for improved institutional support. Findings presented to key stakeholders. Wrote article for The Conversation on lessons for dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic from high-risk industries. Article was read by circa 40k people, picked up by 17 other news outlets.
