Insurance Underwriter

Actively underwrite Property, Liability, and Worker’s Comp policy renewals and process endorsements for a diverse array of municipalities in Tennessee by maintaining strict accuracy and authenticity of documentation. As part of assessing the needs of local Tennessee governments, proactively developed relationships with local agents and brokers. • Efficiently manage and establish relationships with more than 300 accounts year-round, including renewals, endorsements, and issuing certificates. • Manage the Property, Liability, and Worker’s Comp renewals of 214 policies during a single month while maintaining and completing my other duties. • As a company, we write the business for over 95% of all municipalities in Tennessee. • Attend conferences and board meetings to expand my knowledge of the insurance industry through various perspectives.
