Cell Reliability Team Lead

Cell Reliability Team Lead EV Battery Manufacturing | Lithium-Ion Pouch Cells - Lead execution and oversight of long-duration cell reliability testing across multiple OEM programs, ensuring adherence to test schedules, procedural accuracy, and data integrity. - Coordinate and train technicians on proper test setup, execution, and file-handling standards to minimize data loss and test deviations. - Act as primary operational owner for reliability test data, identifying failures, anomalies, and cycler issues before downstream analysis is impacted. - Serve as liaison between lab operations and engineering teams to resolve test discrepancies and clarify data requirements. Engineering & Automation Contributions (Beyond Core Role): Designed and implemented Python-based automation pipelines to ingest, validate, and process End Test Data (ETD) CSV files across deeply nested, multi-OEM directory structures. - Built cell-ID–anchored data extraction systems that merge multi-step test outputs (capacity, ETP, IR, OCV, temperature, DC-IR, RPT metadata) into per-cell records. - Developed cycle-aware logic to accurately map test results to master reliability workbooks while preserving existing formulas, conditional formatting, and historical data. - Implemented robust error handling, logging, and data validation to detect missing cell IDs, misaligned channels, cycle overruns, file locks, and partial data writes. - Standardized reliability data workflows across OEM programs, reducing manual processing, rework, and data inconsistencies. - Improved data throughput and reliability by eliminating manual Excel manipulation and fragile copy-paste processes. Tools & Technologies: - Python (pandas, NumPy, xlwings), Excel (advanced formulas, structured workbooks), CSV data processing, automated file systems, lithium-ion cell testing infrastructure.
