I analysed kinematic data from reaching and grasping tasks. The data was collected from several healthy individuals and one patient. The patient suffered diffuse visual cortex damage following a stroke, resulting in an inability to see stationary objects but motion perception was intact. For example, they could intercept a ball rolling towards them and move through a room with a ‘maze’ of chairs in it.
