Customer Data Specialist

Key Responsibilities and Results: • End responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy in several markets across a variety of products by collaborating with the sales, marketing and CRO teams to ensure effective execution • Working with data visualisation tools (Looker) and advanced Excel to help build dashboards to further identify areas for campaign optimisation through a range of different client and marketing based metrics • Built client specific dashboards to analyse client performance data gained from the sales team, to further optimise campaign performance to ensure client metrics are being met • Built several dashboards (Looker) for core marketing teams to help identify long term trends in performance • Work with our growth team as the lead responsible for launching new verticals. Key Responsibilities and Results: • Responsible for the entire UK country organization with 13 FTEs and 400 volunteers across the UK based out of 15 universities • Oversaw execution and downscaling of a centralised reporting system to improve operational insight and effectiveness across our national base of volunteers • Worked with Head of Organisational Development & Talent Management to revamp our conference cycle to provide further clarity and training to all levels within the organisation to further assist their roles • Oversaw national on-boarding and downscaling of our centralised education hub to help further retain knowledge throughout generations • Worked with our Office Manager and board of directors to update the business model for our key service, Access Tier 5, helping to generate £450k in revenue while transitioning over to a new team • Oversaw strategy implementation, change management initiatives and directly managed 15 regional heads • Worked with Alumni to provide training for the core team, while running bi- weekly 1-1s to assist with team progress • Presented monthly to our Board of Directors on monthly performance and progress on wider quarterly projects • Worked with our Board of Directors chair to establish a mentoring scheme between Alumni and Board of directors to further assist career development for the national team

Key Responsibilities and Results: • As a result of my membership last year I helped to assist the branch to increase their number of sales by 300% in the Student Sales department and won the most improved branch at the national team awards evening as a result. • Ensuring all local operations are running in line with AIESEC UK's national strategies and goals. • Prepare yearly budget of £7,000, oversee finances of multiple projects, report monthly financials to AIESEC UK for auditing purposes. • Supervised team to organise local conference (150 delegates), created budget, negotiated catering discount of 62%. • Proposed various financial investments in marketing which brought a 300% increase in customers to view our services. • Offer strategic guidance & set up innovation team for process optimisation (200% growth in operations YTD). • Established relations with 15 University departments, secured funding from Students Union and University Business School and formed partnerships with other societies to increase brand awareness. • Set up a digital campaign reaching 3700 students and brought in over 75% of applications, doubling membership.

Avia-Tek is a Shanghai-based consultancy and strategic advisory firm which navigates the aerospace and aviation industries of China and other emerging markets. Services include: Market research, project management, M&A advisory services, and corporate access. Key Responsibilities and Results: • Analysed several sources to assist analysts with the creation of articles and reports • Created a database of 40 Chinese aviation and aerospace companies dating back 10 years to analyse market trends and valuations, included research notes, tracked sector index performance, and served as a basis for reports from the firm • Built integrated financial models in Excel based on financial reports for each company to forecast earnings • Examined volatility in stock prices to determine undervalued stocks that could benefit from oil price decline • Prepared extensive PowerPoint slide deck to present findings to MD and Senior Analyst – pitched stock increased by 8% in price since then despite recent market decline in Chinese equities and Yuan devaluation • Created and maintained an index that measured the performance of companies within the Chinese aviation industry • Created a resource folder that had all the financial details of these companies for the past 10 years to decrease the amount of time spent on research in the future • Automated some routine processes by using VBA programming Received a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship for my contribution.
