Reservoir Engineering Consultant

• For Wayra Energy, performed reservoir characterization to revitalize Oso’s mature field development plan (FDP) based on reservoir data analytics workflow for wells’ productivity assessment, identifying and assessing remaining oil zones. Assured client’s portfolio up to 6 MMstb of recoverable oil reserves through highly slanted new wells proposal and workovers. Advised making decision about addressing Oso field’s FDP budget (tens millions of dollars) and designed data acquisition plan to reduce risk of FDP.

Senior Reservoir Engineer

• For Cobra Ecuador, identified and quantified remaining oil pools to sincere Cuyabeno-Sansahuari’s mature fields development plan (FDP) based on mapping remaining and moveable oil as a result of applying integrated reservoir data analytics. Assured client’s portfolio 10 MMstb of recoverable oil reserves through optimized number of proposed multi-completions wells, workovers, and stimulations. Optimized client’s CAPEX (~100 million of dollars saving). Performed EOR screening to identify potential EOR technologies. • For Petro-Paraguay company, designed Garrapatal and PetroPar Blocks’ exploration plan, characterizing conventional and unconventional play resources based on uncertainty and risk analysis. Added client’s portfolio risked gas resource of 1.0 TCF. Risk/Uncertainty analysis performed. • For SSO Company, visualized FDP for technical-economical assessment of Yuralpa-Oso mature fields for Petroamazonas’ Oil & Gas Bidding Round. Resulted in 23 MMstb recoverable oil reserves estimated.

• For IGAPO consortium, performed integrated reservoir characterization. Applied uncertainty analysis of scenarios for revitalization of Pucuna and Palo Azul mature fields, resulting in optimized FDP, improving IGAPO project’s portfolio with 5 new drilling wells (1000 bpd each). Designed waterflood project for Basal Tena reservoir, adding 2MMstb of recoverable oil reserves. • For IGAPO consortium, built reservoir simulation and designed waterflood pilot processes for Pucuna field (IGAPO Project), including scenarios optimization, risk & uncertainty analysis incorporating 1MMstb oil reserves. • For IGAPO consortium, performed EOR/IOR screening, designed SCAL (Krs, Pc, electrical properties, XRD, SEM, Petrography, Geomechanics) & IOR/ EOR lab test (PVT, CO2 slim tube, asphaltene onset, core test, WF, LSWF). Optimization of IOR/EOR test budget (to 40% of original). Visualization and identification of potential IOR/EOR pilot projects (WF, Polymer flooding, Huff & Puff CO2, LSWF).

Design of IOR projects based on simulation model, optimising production scenarios, and also integrating reservoir-network-economic models (IAM), considering risk and uncertainty. - Design of IOR (WAG) project for VLC-363 Reservoir (waterflooding / immiscible gas injection) based on SCAL & CCA, Integrated Petrophysics, numerical model (Eclipse), considering economics (PeePMerak) and scenarios optimization (DMS). - Design of IOR/EOR project for Lower Lagunillas-03 Reservoir (waterflooding / polymer injection by infill drilling) based on SCAL & CCA, Integrated Petrophysics, numerical model (Eclipse), considering economics (PeePMerak) and scenarios optimization (DMS). - Design of development plan and IOR project (waterflooding) for offshore- onshore Tomoporo Field (Reservoir VLG-3729) based on Integrated Asset Modeling (AVOCET software) through coupling existing reservoir numerical model (Eclipse) to surface network (PipeSim), considering economics with risk and uncertainty (PeePMerak). - Design of a cost line heavy oil reserves development plan for the Giant Urdaneta-01 Reservoir (proposed more than 100 new wells) using conventional reservoir analysis with limited data and several geographical environments (offshore-swamp-offshore) based on scenarios optimization and risk analysis (DMS software).
