• Functional on site lead responsible for the logistical and operational transformation of nominated sites around Europe during the integration of FedEx and TNT. • Led pilot project to realise cost savings and service improvements from optimising operational processes in 3 depots in 4 week waves, realising projected annual saving in excess of £600k per year. • Monitor and analyse daily site performance, to ensure customer experience during integration in minimised and ensure site performance is stabilised. • Hold daily problem-solving sessions with local and regional management to identify root cause of performance failures and implement corrective actions with deadlines and owners. • Provide 1-2-1 coaching and feedback to depot and operations management on individual and site performance and set key objectives for improvements. • Create on site weekly progress report and to be distributed globally to update senior management on site performance.

Operations Supervisor

• Responsible for the effective running of the depots night shift and traffic office. Ensure inbound freight is loaded to ensure premium services are met and ensure a balanced workload for 60 drivers in varying vehicle sizes from 3.5 ton to 44 tons. • Over 90 direct reports including Foreman, Operators, Loading bay operators, Despatchers and Drivers. • Identified areas for improvement from well established procedures and actioned changes to improve efficiency and customer experience. • Liaison between international colleagues for the introduction of the ‘Perfect Pickup and Delivery’ initiative. • Planned and implemented at depot level the company initiative ‘Smart Loading’ and resolved issues raised by LBO’s and drivers. • Ensuring Health & Safety is maintained to a high standard. • Assist the planning team when issues arise that don’t follow standard practice and resolve such issues so that customer’s expectations are met.

Warehouse Office Supervisor

• Manage a team of warehouse administrators ensuring all administration duties are carried out efficiently and accurately. • Complete daily/weekly reports of the department’s performance to be reported to the Warehouse Manger & Group Operations Director. These include wage analysis, individual performance & stock holding reports. • Ensure Departments KPI’s are met. • Complete ad-hoc stock controller duties including managing stock delivery schedules & rotation plan by season. • Departments project manager for a large number of new systems. This includes specifying requirements, user acceptance testing and process creation. Tasked as being person of contact for external collaboration between Hotter & 3pl businesses. • Setting up department’s 1-2-1 review processes and training this to other supervisors, team leaders & managers whilst ensuring schedule for 1-2-1 meetings is adhered to. • Developed/created bespoke systems for the warehouse to ensure administration tasks are efficient and more accurate. This includes automated reports and programs to validate entries. • Ensure good health & safety practices are followed by all employees. • Key Holder.
