My name is Mehmet Yildirim. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Watson College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Binghamton University, and a Data Scientist at United Health Services, Inc. I have more than 5 years of hands-on experience in optimization, forecasting, clustering, segmentation, and classification projects. One of my projects received the best paper award at IISE 2018 Conference and another project was the runner-up at the best paper competition at IISE 2019 Conference. I am a curious and passionate researcher about machine learning, deep learning, data mining, optimization, and statistics.
