• Promoted to Senior Analyst at Payments Operations Team that enabled me to handle key responsibilities for the Gift cards division. • Executed a project using Data Mining techniques that yielded savings of $1 MM USD thereby preventing leakage of gift card balances for fraudulent use. • Implemented an identification mechanism to proactively rescue customers who lost their gift card balances across all Amazon platforms for amounts worth $0.5 MM USD. • Created an excel based tool that was integrated on a web-based platform compliant with Amazon's tools. This was used by ~150 analysts and Amazon's Machine Systems that resulted in better detection of Fraud on all marketplaces. • Worked with stakeholders across worldwide stores in resolving executive escalations. Created process maps for documentation, monitoring and timely resolution of escalations. • Performed root-cause analysis and worked backwards to identify the process/tool/SOP related deficiencies in order to lay out preventive actions to improve customer experience for conducting gift card related purchases. • Carried out the expansion of Amazon’s approach to accommodate an internal translation feature that assisted the Gift card team to resolve customer queries and communicate with the customers across seven regional languages in the Indian marketplace. • Hosted Kaizen workshops in order to analyse pain points and boost KPIs of gift card domain.

• Joined Amazon's Payment risk Operations team to perform investigations in Gift card purchases • Created risk-rules to enable Machine Learning for better detection of sophisticated scams on Amazon India marketplace that resulted in savings of $0.7 MM USD. • Became a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform important tasks such as developing SOPs/tools and mentoring other analysts.
