Course Description

Extend Your Network Beyond Google Cloud

Most organizations don’t run everything in a single cloud. This sixth and final course in the Networking in Google Cloud series shows you how to connect on-premises data centers and other cloud providers to Google Cloud. It’s best suited to learners who have completed the earlier courses in the series or have equivalent experience.

Compare Cloud Interconnect and Cloud VPN

You’ll start with an overview of Google Cloud’s connectivity options and a deep dive into Cloud Interconnect and its different types. Then you’ll turn to Cloud VPN, covering implementation, high availability, and common VPN topologies, and see how Network Connectivity Center simplifies managing many connections.

Choose the Right Connectivity for Each Use Case

Throughout the course, you’ll evaluate which hybrid and multicloud services fit specific scenarios. By the end, you’ll be able to explain the options for extending your networks to Google Cloud, analyze which connectivity service suits a given use case, and implement a hybrid or multicloud network using Google Cloud services.
