Setting up your R Environment

Join us for this hands-on training where you will learn how to install common tools to work with R, including the RStudio development environment and the git version control software. You'll also learn how to customize R and RStudio to be more productive.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to:

• Install R, RStudio, and git.

• Customize RStudio.

• Customize your R profile.

What should I prepare?

Users should have access to a web browser, and the ability to download software on their PC or laptop. All other materials will be provided during the session.

Who should attend?

This course is open to all DataCamp Premium learners, looking to get started working with R on their own PC or laptop. (Note that part of the session involves installing software: you should have access to a PC or laptop where you have permission to do this.)
