Description

ChatGPT and AI have taken the (data) world by storm. Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT is a conversational model built on top of the GPT-3 family of large language models. Luckily, the OpenAI API is accessible for anyone to interact with and build cutting-edge AI tools.

In this live training, join Data Evangelist at DataCamp, Richie Cotton, as he provides an introduction to the OpenAI API, GPT-3, and ChatGPT models. In the live training, Richie will walk you through how to gain access to the OpenAI API, the state of large language models today and how they’re being used in production, and how to perform a myriad of language and code generation tasks using the OpenAI API in Python.

We will be using the OpenAI API. You can code along with Richie if you sign up for access to OpenAI; otherwise, you’re welcome to follow along!

In this session we use DataCamp Workspace. All you need is a DataCamp account. If you need help, read the Getting Started with Workspace tutorial. Note that members of some enterprise groups do not yet have access to use DataCamp Workspace. Create a free DataCamp account with your personal email address to follow along.

We also recommend that you have taken the following course before attending
