Description

Data governance is more than just a framework for managing data—it’s a key driver of a strong data-driven culture. By aligning people, processes, and technology, effective data governance empowers organizations to make better decisions and unlock the full value of their data. Without a focus on governance, fostering a data-driven culture becomes a significant challenge.

In this panel interview, Kim Wienzierl, Director of Master Data Management at Newell Brands, and Lauren Maffeo, Assistant Director of Product at Maryland Department of Labor, will discuss how data leaders can use data governance to strengthen their organization’s data culture. You’ll learn best practices for implementing data governance, explore the relationship between governance and data-driven decision-making, and understand how governance supports the development of a robust data culture. This session is perfect for data leaders looking to integrate governance practices into their broader data strategies.
