2022 Year In Review: DataCamp Customer Support

Discover how we’ve been working hard to deliver even better support for DataCampers.
Dec 2022  · 3 min read

As the year 2022 comes to a close, we at DataCamp want to take a moment to reflect on our commitment to our learners. At DataCamp, we value our learners above all else. Whether individuals looking to acquire data skills, or organizations rolling out their data upskilling programs with DataCamp for Business, our customer support team has worked tirelessly this year to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience with our platform. From faster response times, improved FAQ articles, and live chat for all, read on to discover how we’ve been working hard to deliver even better support for DataCampers.

Faster Responses

This year we’ve improved our response times and coverage, ensuring you get the help you need when you need it. We know how important it is to get the help you need fast, so DataCamp now enjoys 24/7 support coverage, resulting in quicker replies to customers (80% faster on average)! We’ve also begun trialing phone support for our Teams & Enterprise customers, giving them more choice and flexibility.

Help Center

Our Help Center is the home of helpful information designed to support you on your DataCamp journey. There are loads of top tips and updated guides to help you get the most out of your experience with us. This year saw our Help Center completely re-designed with a fresh lick of paint and updated articles, with over 93% of customers finding the answers they need. We also made it faster to get in touch with easier-to-use contact us forms - win!

Live Chat

2022 also saw the launch of Live Chat for all of our customers. Accessed through our newly improved Support Bot, over 7,000 DataCampers reached out through chat, with over 98% satisfied with the support they received! Our Support Bot has been improved, too; it’s smarter, faster, and more helpful than ever, with over a third of customers finding solutions through it.

Satisfaction & Feedback

This year over 11,000 of you took the time to share your service feedback with us, with over 92% saying they had a great experience. For customers who think we could have done better, we take the time to review what happened to help us improve and reach out where appropriate. We also champion your views internally, sharing your feedback, comments, and ideas directly with the people who build DataCamp. This helps us remain customer focused and ensure we create products you’ll love to use.

Looking Ahead

As we look ahead to 2023, we’ll continue to put you first. Whether you’ve got a question, an idea, or need some guidance, we’ll be on hand around the clock to help. We’ll continue to innovate and improve, ensuring our Customer Support exceeds your expectations. 2023 promises to be a great year for DataCamp, and we can’t wait to partner with you, our customers, to make it the best it can be.
