According to their research, the Honeylocust was the most popular tree species planted, with the Callery Pear, Ginkgo, and Pin Oak. Interestingly, some of the less commonly planted tree species, such as the Golden Raintree, Sawtooth Oak, and Kentucky Coffeetree, performed better in terms of health than the commonly planted species.
