DataCamp Donates

Our partners receive the equivalent of our DataCamp Teams plan. The partnership manager (the person who filled out the application form) will receive admin permission, enabling them to distribute DataCamp access to their team and designated scholars. The admin will also have access to administrative tools as a DataCamp Teams admin, including a Group Dashboard, Reporting, Teams, Assignments, and more. 

Upon acceptance to the program, DataCamp will inform the admins of their license allotment and the maximum number of learners they can add to their group. 

All of DataCamp’s learning curriculum and features are always accessible with a Donates Scholarship, including new content as it is added. This includes all our Certifications. DataCamp Donates Partner Organizations also have Premium access to our online IDE Datalab, which is available to all their learners.

DataCamp Donates Partnership last 1 entire year. Your partnership application will inform us when you want your free access and allocated licenses to become available. This is what we call our “activation date.” The year countdown starts on this activation date. 

You can always check your upcoming expiration date in your group settings. Additionally, you will receive reminder emails as the expiring date approaches. 

If you wish to renew our partnership after one year, you can apply by going to our DataCamp Donates Landing page, clicking “Become a partner,” and filling out the application form. The process is the same for both new and returning partners. 

We don’t have strict partnership requirements, as we understand each organization is different. However, we encourage partners to:

1. List DataCamp Donates as a partner, supporter, or sponsor on their website. A logo and link to our landing page are appreciated. 
2. Post a partnership announcement on social media, tagging @datacamp 
3. Encourage learners to finish at least one course in their first month of DataCamp access 
4. Maintain contact with their learner to ensure they have a successful experience 
5. Encourage learners to fill out our Scholar Experience Survey toward the end of their scholarship time with DataCamp 

Partnership managers (those who filled out the application form) will receive a group activation link on their activation date. After accepting the invite through the link, you will have admin permissions, enabling you to invite members to your group and extend free access to them. 

We recommend looking at our admin tutorials to maximize the platform.

Yes, we love it when current partners want to renew their partnership with us. To renew our collaboration, follow these steps: 

1. Visit https://www.datacamp.com/donates 
2. Click on “Become a partner”
3. Fill out the application form
4. Select “Yes” when we ask if you are a returning partner
5. Wait to be approved within one business day

Upon approval, you will receive access to an entire new DataCamp group, which means that you will have to re-add learners if you want to continue learning for free. 

These are true donations. Our partner organizations and their members pay us nothing for their DataCamp Premium Scholarships, normally valued at $399 USD each. 

By offering aid in the form of education services instead of monetary contributions, we’re also eschewing tax breaks, the traditional upside of corporate philanthropy. DataCamp receives no write-offs or direct fiduciary benefits from donating Premium Scholarships whatsoever. 

The only thing we request of our nonprofit partners is an ongoing dialogue about their members’ real-world successes after using the platform and their help promoting the program.
