The challenge: making every role AI-native, not just the AI team

Wizeline is a global technology services provider that helps businesses build and scale digital products, with deep expertise across product engineering, data, and AI. It partners with organizations to accelerate transformation and build future-ready capabilities.

AI as the operating foundation

Wizeline's leadership works from a clear conviction: AI drives real performance only when it becomes part of a company's operating foundation, not when it runs as a disconnected experiment.

That belief sits at the center of the company's Perform ^ AI framework. As AI tools sprawl, enterprise spend rises and board scrutiny grows, many organizations stall with fragile, isolated pilots that never compound into increased productivity and ROI. Wizeline set out to raise the bar on what being AI-native means, and to start with its own people.

Beyond engineering, to every role

The company had already started to build AI readiness inside engineering. The larger ambition was to extend that capability to everyone, so that every Wizeliner, whatever their role, could work with applied AI confidence every day.

Being AI-native isn’t just about having an AI team, it’s about how our Wizeliners work. Instead of reaching for AI as an afterthought, an AI-native employee defaults to it; it is the base setting for their entire way of working.

The solution: a shared foundation with role-specific tracks

Wizeline scaled its AI upskilling program company-wide with DataCamp, due to its ability to support learning goals across multiple personas.

First, the engineering team was able to cross the finish line on its AI upskilling goals, by leveraging the platform’s curated content and courses, access to tools and sandboxes, and hands-on projects.

Then, Wizeline extended AI upskilling beyond engineering into Finance, People, Delivery, Marketing, and Operations. Rather than a single one-size-fits-all course, the program pairs a common baseline with targeted, functional learning.

A foundation for everyone

Every employee starts with a foundational curriculum that sets a common language, responsible use, and a shared baseline for working with AI.

Role-specific tracks

From there, teams follow tracks built for their function, including AI for Developers, AI for Project Managers, AI for Marketing, AI for Finance, and AI for People and HR. Each track maps to how that team actually builds, delivers, and operates.

Learning by doing

Wizeline prioritized adoption over content consumption, so teams could turn knowledge into action quickly. DataCamp's interactive exercises, challenges, and projects give employees hands-on practice and a direct path to applying new skills in real workflows.

What excites me most is the shift from ‘knowing about AI’ to actually using it role by role, workflow by workflow.

The results

A shift in how teams work

Wizeline is building toward a clear shift: from knowing about AI to using it by default, role by role. Its leaders describe the value in terms of both how teams work and how they show up for clients.

[The AI upskilling program] enables our teams to work smarter and faster, and it strengthens how we show up for clients: with sharper thinking, better execution, and a truly AI-native culture.

What comes next

Wizeline continues to expand applied AI readiness across the business, embedding AI more deeply into how work gets done and reinforcing a culture where every role can put AI to work with confidence.
