Yes. No prior spreadsheet or data experience is required. The course starts with the basics of navigating a spreadsheet, identifying cells, and entering data before introducing any formulas.

You will be able to perform arithmetic using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponentiation, as well as percentage increases and decreases, and comparisons between values using operators like greater than and less than.

An absolute cell reference locks a cell's row, column, or both so the reference does not shift when you copy a formula to another cell. The course covers all three locking variations using the dollar sign syntax.

Chapter 1 uses food ingredient and calorie data to practice formulas, and Chapter 2 uses country population and land area data to apply cell references and calculations in a real-world context.

It is designed for data consumers, analysts, and business leaders who need to build and interpret spreadsheets for tasks like tracking KPIs, compiling reports, or performing everyday calculations without writing code.
