At DataCamp, we understand and embrace how quickly technology evolves and changes. Our goal is to make sure that our learners are equipped with the most up-to-date information as they embark on their Data Science journeys.
So, how exactly do we make sure that Career and Skill Tracks remain relevant and up-to-date? The short answer is; we periodically update courses and Tracks.
Today, we are pleased to announce that we have updated 3 of our tracks:
For the Data Scientist with R career track, we have added Introduction to the Tidyverse, Working with Dates and Times in R, Cluster Analysis in R, Supervised Learning in R: Classification and our first two SQL courses: Intro to SQL for Data Science and Joining Data with PostgreSQL. These courses replace the courses of Intermediate R - Practice, Data Visualization in R, Data Visualization with ggplot2 (Part 3), Foundations of Inference, Machine Learning Toolbox, and Text Mining: Bag of Words.
For the Data Analyst with R career track, we have replaced Intermediate R - Practice with Introduction to the Tidyverse. We have also replaced the Data Visualization in R course with Sentiment Analysis in R: The Tidy Way and changed the order of the Data Visualization with ggplot2 (Part 1) course to appear before the Sentiment Analysis in R: The Tidy Way course in the 11th position in the track.
For the Data Scientist with Python career track, we have added in our first two SQL courses as we did above in the Data Scientist with R career track.
If you are enrolled in one of these tracks, you might notice a (small) change in the track completion percentage on your homepage. This is expected behavior.
